Bondi 22 knit classic fitted t-shirt (PDF)

I normally love Sinclair parmtterns, but I don't like for this one so much. I like the neckband finish and some of the issues could be due to the very stretchy viscose lycra I used. I had to make several adjustments to the pattern. The block used for this pattern seems to differ from my other patterns. I am.unlikely to make another Bondi. I am surprised, as I have read many glowing reviews

However, if your sewing cup size is under 1", you may want to still do a SBA. =D

Amazing pattern, easy to understand especially for a beginner!

I usually never wear classic t-shirts but i liked the Bondi options for the different necklines and banded hem. I initially got the pattern to make some long sleeved shirts, for winter. The tutorial is easy to follow and with 1 pattern you can make several different shirts because of the neckline options and different sleeve lengths. But on a whim i also purchased the Bondi add on sleeve packs and now i'm enjoying all the mix and match options. I've made several so far and the fit is great. Will be making a lot more in the future!

This pattern was excellent for a beginner. I’ve made the tee twice using striped fabric, once with a jersey knit and once with a 1x1 rib knit. The latter was much easier (edges lay flat). The instructions were clear. The fit of the tee was good and I was pleased with the results.

I have not made it up yet.

I feel like the sizing is off in the upper body. It fit great for my long torso, but the top of the shoulder seam was much too far in nearer my neckline than the edge of my shoulder. I went up two sizes and that helped a tad, but then the bottom sides were too wide. I’ll have to fix the flare. I was disappointed because I’ve loved all the tall length patterns from Sinclair thus far. This one needs tweaking.

I've had lots of fitting issues for the past 20+ years thanks to a rounded upper back. Once an American Sewing Guild friend discovered a solution for my back problem I'm finally able to make clothing that fits ME! (I have to add a center back seam to allow for extra room for my rounded back: 1/2 dart at 4" and again at 7" from nape of neck, both ending at the armseye seam allowance) After trying and successfully making 3 iterations of the Harper Cardigan, I decided to try the Bondi 22 t-shirt. I am delighted to say I have already made 3 new t-shirts and am looking forward to making more. I am so excited to have patterns for petite figures - which lowers the number of alterations. (The major changes I have to make from the PDF include: adding a center back seam to accommodate the curve needed to raise the center back seam, and grading from a size 6 at the shoulders, to an 8 just below the armseye at bustt level, to a 10 (or 12 depending on stretchiness) at the waist (I have almost no waist definition), and 14 at hip level. Once I get a pattern to fit, I use it over and over again! These t-shirts have all been made using a 4-thread serger and a coverstitch machine. Only the neckline topstitching is sewn with my regular sewing machine. I expect the next shirt(s) to take only about 2 hours for actual sewing -- cutting time is extra! Since I have not found commercially available t-shirts that fit in stores or on-line, I am delighted to have a whole new wardrobe in process!

This t-shirt fits really well; I've gotten many compliments when I wear it on the pickleball court. I plan to make several more with different sleeve lengths. I thought printing out the pattern and taping together was going to be a pain, but it's actually an advantage because I have ALL the sizes at my disposal so I can make some for my pickleball friends, who are not the same size as me, without having to buy another pattern.
