Featuring: Fitted at the waist, semi fitted at the hips and flared down the thighs shorts designed for knit fabrics. Offered in short length and just below the knee length (culottes). Can be finished with a standard yoga waistband or V-shaped yoga waistband. Optional side seam pockets and/or hidden front waistband key pocket.
The pattern offers the following options:
View A - culottes with a yoga waistband and a waistband pocket
View B - shorts with side pockets and a V shaped waistband
View C - shorts with side pockets and a yoga waistband

SIZING
The pdf pattern comes in US0-US30 sizes in PETITE, REGULAR and TALL height range.
DIFFICULTY
The pdf pattern is a beginner (2/10) level and moderately easy to sew.
Takes 1-3 hours to finish (time may vary depending on your skills, equipment and supplies).

Main fabric (legs) - light to medium weight well draping opaque knit fabrics with minimum 10-15% horizontal and vertical stretch

I had a vision of long palazzo pants with a yoga waist, and Cleo was the absolute perfect starting point. My hack was to extend the lines down to create long pants, and I love how they turned out. The pattern waist as drafted was a super comfortable fit and the lines of the shorts/culottes made for easy lengthening. Fit was exactly as expected compared to other Sinclair patterns I’ve made. very easy to do and wear
I made a CLEO in stretch satin and was very impressed by the fit. The instructions were so easy to follow.

I made them in a lightweight flowy cotton fabric and found them to be very useful during the recent UK heatwave. They also work well as pyjama shorts. Definitely will be making more of these

Are all sizes included with the pattern?
Yes, all sizes and heights are included with the pattern. Please refer to the sizing guide in the pattern description for sizing. Please note, that some of the patterns have slightly different sizing guides (US0-US22 or US0-US30 for women's patterns).
Do you sell paper patterns?
We only offer digital sewing patterns, that you can download and print at home or at online printing service / copy shop or project them onto a fabric using a projector.
Are your patterns layered?
Yes, all our patterns are layered and that means you can choose sizes to print / project when working in Adobe Acrobat.
